Brief Biographical Sketch:

Although I didn't know I wanted to be a physics major when I came to university, I was quickly swayed by the beauty and the fundamental nature of the subject. Now, I happily spend my days thinking about proverbial spherical cows. Outside physics, I love to read about philosophy, economics, politics and am an avid classical guitarist.

C7446: Get Ψ’ched: Quantum Mechanics in a Nutshell in Splash Fall 2019 (Nov. 16 - 17, 2019)
Can one particle really be in two places at once? How can a single particle interfere with itself? How do we know light is made of photons? Why is it that the more we know about something’s speed, the less we know about its position? Learn the answers to these questions and others that baffled scientists like Einstein, Schrödinger, and Heisenberg. Join us as we explore the limits of our mathematical models and the fundamental limit of what we can know about a system. Discover quantum mechanics, the strange physics that explains lasers, computer chips, and all of chemistry.
