ESP Biography

In this class, students will learn about the fundamentals of circuits and create their own works of art! We will discuss basics like how batteries and resistors work. Then, students will get the opportunity to use their knowledge to create their own paper circuits and light sabers that light up!

Medical technologies like X-rays, MRIs, ultrasounds, and CT scans are essential in healthcare, but how are these detailed images created from seemingly invisible data? "The Mathematics of Medical Imaging," explores this complex process. The course focuses on mathematical principles based in inverse problems such as back projection, Fourier transforms, and convolution to demonstrate how raw data is transformed into clear, interpretable images. Students will learn about these techniques and their application in medical imaging. As such the course highlights the critical role of mathematics in converting abstract data into valuable diagnostic tools.
