Brief Biographical Sketch:

I study fungi that live in the ground and on plant roots, helping trees grow and making sure dead stuff turns into soil. I enjoy spending time outside and collecting gourmet mushrooms from the forest.

Most of the action takes place out of sight. Come learn about the hidden world of fungi in this interactive course. You will learn about the ecology, evolution, and human uses of fungi, and will get hands-on practice identifying mushrooms on your own!
