Brief Biographical Sketch:

Kiara is a 3rd year PhD student in chemical engineering working on fluidic platforms for tissue engineering. She really enjoys sharing cool science with others through outreach and is excited to teach at Stanford Splash this year!

B6728: The Science of Drug Delivery in Splash Fall 2018 (Dec. 01 - 02, 2018)
What do popping boba and medicine have in common? Come find out in this hands-on class, where we'll learn about different strategies for targeted drug delivery. As a class, we'll make and test out a few formulations of coatings and spheres to see what works best in different regions of the body. We'll even get to make and eat our own boba at the end!
