R3278: Korean Basic: Reading and Writing in Splash! Fall 2013 (Nov. 02 - 03, 2013)
Interested in Korean dramas and songs? Want to travel Korea? Then understanding Han-Geul (Korean alphabet) would be of great help for you. In this class, we learn how to read and write Han-Geul. No prior experience with Korean is necessary. We are going to have exciting games too that everyone can enjoy.

We will learn how to read and write Korean alphabets(Hangul). No prior experience with Korean is necessary. ** Although, same materials will be used from previous Splash lectures, always welcome to take it again.


H2527: Understanding Korean culture in Splash! Fall 2012 (Nov. 03 - 04, 2012)
We introduce values and beliefs in Korean culture, such as compassion, relationship and roles in society, harmony, face. Some of them are related to the Confucian concept, but there indeed are more than that. Korean TV dramas are also included to help understandings.
