Brief Biographical Sketch:

Lover of brains, live music, and dancing.
Born in Illinois but mostly grew up in SoCal. Ventured over to the East Coast for fun at MIT. Currently studying how brains get put together. New born neurons are born in one place but they migrate to their final position before they can start being a working part of the full brain community. I get to watch those neurons move around and try to figure out how they do it!
