L1879: The Art of Chilling: Traditions from India in Splash! Fall 2011 (Oct. 29 - 30, 2011)
In this course, we will explore the Indian traditions of chilling and relaxation. The ritual methodologies in the preparation of such things as meditation rooms, hookah, and seating, which seem unnecessary to many in Western culture, will be explained, taught, and analyzed. This is an interesting class for anyone who wishes to learn more about Indian culture, or simply destressing in general.
