Brief Biographical Sketch:

I am a first year graudate student in Bioengineering working on applying the novel technique called Optogenetics in non-human primates. I am pretty excited about all things brain-related, which is why I decided to study Neuroengineering. I love teaching and have had multiple teaching experiences before as a private tutor for Multivariable Calculus and Organic Chemistry since my freshman year at Duke. In addition, I was a teaching assistant for an Intro to Material Science for two years. However, I haven't been involved in any teaching for a while. Thus, I am pretty excited about this opportujnity with SPLASH!
