Do you think Shakespeare is boring? Is it hard to understand what people are saying in his plays? Are you tired of sitting in class reading plays that were meant to be performed on stage? The Stanford Shakespeare Company is here to save you from blah, uninteresting Shakespeare! In this class, YOU are the directors, and help a small group of our Shakespearean actors perform a scene. Take control of your Shakespeare experience and learn why these plays have been popular for 400 years! Students will not be asked to act in this class. Appropriate for high school students with any exposure to Shakespeare.
