Brief Biographical Sketch:

Rebecca has been studying Zen Meditation with Toronto based Zen master, Venerable Hwasun Yangil of Korean Jogye Order. She is a certified Dharma teacher of the order. As a co-president of the Buddhist Community at Stanford and founder of the Stanford Zen Society, Rebecca is more than happy to share the Zen practice with any willing mind.

H1530: Zen Meditation in Splash! Spring 2011 (Apr. 16 - 17, 2011)
We will go over the basic posture, breathing technique, and concentration method to get you started on your spiritual path. We will also briefly discuss the history of Zen Buddhism, and share spontaneous jokes just like the Zen masters do in the olden days. Of course, a little flexibility never hurts anyone, so we'll share some stretches to make your sits more comfortable for on-going practice.

Ever wonder what you really are? Ever want to rise above the changing phenomenons of the world? Please join me to explore the answer to these questions. We will follow the ancient traditions of Zen Meditation, and share stories about the history of Zen. Discussion group may follow if necessary.
