Brief Biographical Sketch:

Hello! My name is Sabine, and I am a PhD student in the civil engineering department. I did my undergrad at Ohio State University, also in civil engineering. I was part of Engineers Without Borders and also traveled to Mexico and Honduras during my time there. Here, at Stanford, I'm looking at ways to improve post-disaster recovery of buildings that have been damaged during an earthquake.

In my free time, I like to travel (duh!), bake, and ride my bike. Looking forward to meeting you!
