Year of Graduation: 2020

Picture of Margaret Coad

Brief Biographical Sketch:

I am a 4th year PhD student in mechanical engineering, focusing on design and control of robots made out of soft materials. I love to learn new things and share what I've learned. I enjoy singing and playing the piano, and I even play the Irish accordion. I also enjoy all kinds of sports. My current favorite is ultimate frisbee, but I also like roller blading, rock climbing, swimming, and many others. Some other things I love are cooking, being with family and friends, discussing deep topics, and reading the classics. When I was in middle school, I came to several events like Splash and loved them, so I'm excited to be able to be a teacher myself.
