M2564: Hands-On Group Theory in Splash! Fall 2012 (Nov. 03 - 04, 2012)
This class will take some ideas from the mathematical field of group theory and present them in a hands-on, fun way. Students will interact with the ideas and with each other, learning about group theory from within. We won't be learning much notation or mathematical language, but we will be covering some basic ideas from a more big-picture point of view. You don't need to have any math experience, just readiness to get excited and participate!
