S2501: Leadership in Health Disparities in Splash! Fall 2012 (Nov. 03 - 04, 2012)
What would happen if you couldn’t go to a doctor when you were sick? Given what the word “disparity” means, what might a “health disparity” be? We will talk about the causes and impact of health disparities and discuss how to do an assessment related to health-disparity issues. We will also brainstorm and design a solution for positively impacting a health disparity in your own community.
