Brief Biographical Sketch:

I've been passionate about studying cancer ever since high school, and just as passionate about teaching nearly as long. In my undergraduate years, I co-taught an Honors course titled "Medicine, Film, and Literature" to other undergraduates, and have tutored students of various ages professionally. While I am driven by the desire to help others access complicated scientific concepts, what truly motivates me is cancer research. I was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship in 2015-2016 to study Cancer Cell and Molecular Biology in Leicester, England, and have just begun a PhD program in Cancer Biology at Stanford University.
