Brief Biographical Sketch:

Lecturer for the Arabic Program at Stanford University with a Doctorate in Comparative Literature. Host of 'Arabology'​ Radio Program on KZSU 90.1 FM (San Francisco bay area) with FCC clearance. Published author. Translator from/to Arabic, English, and French. Blogger.
Specialties: ACTFL Certified OPI and WPT Tester/Rater in Arabic. Winner of Stanford's Dean Award for Excellence in Teaching (2005) and the ASSU's "Teacher of the Year" Honorable Mention (2009) and the John S. Knight Favorite Professor Award in 2004, 2009, and 2013. Teaching experience at the University level with over 20 years of academic service.
