L2543: Public Speaking Primer: Handy Tips for Better Communication and Timed Arguments in Splash! Fall 2012 (Nov. 03 - 04, 2012)
For anyone that wishes to learn or enhance public speaking skills, this workshop aims to help students realize that they can speak publicly with great effectiveness by working on their confidence and comfort as well as proven small skills, such as good eye contact, projection, and speed of speaking. The class, if interested, can also discuss keys for doing well in activities such as mock trial and making persuasive arguments under time pressure.
