B6472: Mendel: Why was he so great? in Splash Spring 2018 (May. 05 - 06, 2018)
We had been breeding plants and animals, selecting for desirable traits, for thousands of years before we knew how those traits were transmitted from parents to their children. Mendel made a ground breaking discovery of the laws of inheritance in the 1860s. We will learn the secrets of Mendel's success and why Mendel is still relevant today.

B6473: Genetic inheritance with Reebops in Splash Spring 2018 (May. 05 - 06, 2018)
We will explore Mendel's laws of inheritance by breeding Reebops. Reebops are fantastical marshmallow creatures with several traits, such as straight or curly tails, that are inherited according to Mendel's laws.
